| the light was really bizarre this night - as if the sun had been shuttered like a theatre light to create a thin beam travelling RIGHT down the royal mile. It was almost heavenly! |

thats beautiful... I keep trying to get the angel rays. you know, when the sun comes through a crack in the clouds and the light all seperates off? I have never managed to get a photo of it. perhaps thats what happened here...
