My city, well not just my city but I love it!!!!!!

Haha, I call it my city too! People always say, you and whatever millions of people's...This was may favorite view when I was young. My mom worked on a 50th story of a bldg, and I used to like being a voyeur and look at people working on the roof tops, and the cars. It made the city have a toy quality to it.

I think it is, good eye! I miss it too, they have such great sales, but at least they have an online shop. It keeps me satisfied.

Well, I don't think that is going to work for me here, do you think they will deliver to the UK.

I don't think so, but you should send your parents there to get the things you want and they can send them, but that would take the fun out of shopping, plus, who's parents would actually do that for them? Not mine, for sure, besides I can imagine the ugliness my mom would buy me. " Disney characters are IN, Caroline" oy.

Lol okay, well I got to Macy's the day before I was leaving to come back and my mum was like you know how much stuff you have to do before you leave tomorrow, but they do have such great sales, it's just unbelievable, I love it!!!!

I know, I got an Anna Sui(sp) skirt there, originally 180 dollars for 20. It was amazing. I tend to go to Bloomies more though, only because it's 11 blocks form my house, and 3 from my favorite cookie shop, not to mention Dylan's Candy Bar, Ralph Lauren's daughter's candy store....Yummers. I love Macy's at X-mas though, I love the atmosphere

You seem to love shopping but I love going through the city and stuff. I haven't been home during the Christmas time in 3 years, so I do miss it and I also miss the Thanksgiving Day Parade, ofcourse its not a holiday here in the UK so I miss it even more

I love the Thanksgiving Day parade too. We've gone away for the alst few Thanksgivings, so I've had to watch it on TV, NOT the same. I love going through the city too, but only when I can afford it....bus fare is 2.00 each way ! So I stay in my neighborhood alot, and I live in a shopping district. That and an old rich people one...I live two blocks past the rich buildings so I'm middle class, I also spend alot of time at the Met because you can give them a quarter, it's only 12 blocks from me
well that is the great thing about the Met, you chose what you want to pay, but I so love going there. It's like walking through time and cultures and you can just imagine how things were then, I so love it! But, your lucky to be in the heart of things because you can always just walk out your door and its all there for you!

I know! The Moma went up to like 25 dollars or soemthing crazy. It makes it less available, which makes me very very angry. For some people that is an entire day of work. I wish I was closer to Chelsea though, I lvoe those galleries!

Zara's and H&M are wonderful shops. My friend worked there, so I had to go there to take advantage of the discount a year ago. The MOMA is a museum of modern art in new York, it does have a greta gift shop though.

Have you not heard of Macys Rosie? Well when you get to New York, one day you must go, if you love shopping you would love it there. I have never been to the MOMA, I'm not a major fan of some modern art, but I would like to go just to see. My step-grandfather live on 8th and 28th, which is right in the Chelsea area, but I would love to go to the galleries, I guess I just have to look for them.
