I just saw it in IMAX tonight. (Third time around in all )I came in a little late, but right as the film started and had to sit in the middle, which is no good. My neck is killing me. However I must say for the large flying scenes, like london on brooms, and the castle views, and flying on thestrals and such...IMAX is the only way to go....the newspaper stuff made me a little dizzy though. And the dementors scared me like whoah. I mean like, "Oh Lord! They're sucking out my soooooul!!!!" scared. Haha.

But I noticed things I never noticed before too! Like how Chris is left-handed. Or he made Percy appear to be left-handed, haha. And he was holding a hat in one scene with the minister. Luna's raddish earrings. And everyone's face was all up in mine, haha. Tiny details were huge. There's no hiding on this thing. It was great. Unfortunately our IMAX did not have the last 20 minutes in 3D though . Oh well.

I saw it last week (my best friend talked me into skipping our sorority meeting.) She absolutely hated it. I liked most of it. It felt like snippets of the book, held together by the newspaper clippings. Which was really an interesting take on it- it reminded me of a short that my sister's fiance forced me to watch that ended up being quite good.
The only bad thing was that there were so few people in the theatre- it was us (total three) and then a couple a few rows behind us, who took advantage of the nearly empty and incredibly dark theatre to do what most teenagers do in empty theatres... roarrr. Made me angry, they kept interrupting my movie. And then I started to miss my boyfriend. Which made me literally want to roar.

I've seen it twice, mainly because the first time I ended up with my nose practically touching the screen.
I don't know whether to blame it on the fact I'm always late, or if I have a large nose... Ho hum.
Great film though, gave a little snuffle at the death of Sirius *cough*.

I loved it myself when we went to see it though as usual there were some minor but still important details missing in the film... not to mention they added a couple of things, but it was much better than the fourth book which was one of my favorites in the series. The third movie they screwed up entirely in my opinion, but I LOVED the fifth one. Excellent work to all the cast.
