So, as I sat ready to watch Harry Potter the other night, a preview for Across the Universe played. I dunno what to say other than it looks amazing. And also, I immediately fell in love with Jim Sturgess. Seriously. Amazing.
Any previews you guys have seen lately and love?

You have to take a grain of salt with some people. With my family, you need a whole margarita!

Transformers and The Simpsons
Transformers isn't out yet in Germany, so it still counts.

A beatlesesque movie, sadly I don't remember the name of it. I know it had a few protests in it, and that it was shot like a documentary. I don't even remember which movie it was with.. *tear*

That's 'Across the Universe', directed by the amazing Julie Taymor...
Bartender, pour us a dirty martini and keep them coming. This is vintage Jackie Collins and we'll be here till closing.

The Golden Compass looks pretty good (not as detailed as the books, obviously, but that's understandable), and it comes out around my birthday. <3

I had no idea they made a film of it... His Dark Materials is amazing. They're doing the whole series, right?

I'm hoping they're going to make films of all three, but all that's definite right now is The Golden Compass, which is going to be released on December 7th. Toby Emmerich, president of New Line Cinema, said production of the second and third depends on the success of the first. Here, have an article announcing of the second, but still making it sound like a maybe thing.
... And I forgot that the previews for Underdog look quite amusing.
