Oh it's not really a spoiler, because Jo said it herself in an interview....A they put it in a headline. I was just being a bit silly. :P

They did have a spoiler later on though, but told you not to highlight if you didn't want to read it. About a character they were gonna cut out of OotP and Jo said they probably shouldn't do that. Which is driving me nuts since I read it, and have to think of another theory.

i am refusing to go on anything that spoils it to much, i mean when i go to the midnight party (just found out im going yay), im gunna get the book and sit in a corner somewhere with my friends, no doubt they'll want me to read it to them lol.
I have seen so many spoiler sites and it has been so easy just to pass by them and say no, im going to wait.

I dont think that snape is truley evil, my dad and i were discussing this that when he killed dumbledore :(dumbledore acctually asked him to i think that if it had not been that dumbledore was going to die wether he did it or not, that he would not have done it. I believe that he will be seperated from the order but he will still be spying.

so, a little bird told me the ending of Book 7

The Trio and the death eaters sit around a campfire singing kum ba yah while Voldemort makes S'mores and snape adds the little marshmallows to the hot chocolate
Flowers are pretty.

THEORY:

So, I totally found evidence to support that R.A.B. is Regalus Black. And he's definately the one who took the locket.

On page 116 of book 5 (US copy), everyone is cleaning the room with the doxies in it. They're cleaning the glass cabinets and the stuff in it. It says "also a heavy locket that none of them could open".

Um yeah, that has to be the real locket. I can't believe I've missed that line. I have to get back to reading now....

I'm on the Regulus =RAB bandwagon, but I don't think it's that relevent. I'm under the impression that each of the horcruxes was entrusted to a different death eater to hide. Voldemort says in the fourth book that they are aware of the measures that he has taken against everything going to bollocks or something similar, I'll dig up the quote later, but my bet is that they didn't know exactly what the items were or what they did (otherwise Lucius wouldn't have tossed around the diary like that, and RAB wouldn't have been talking about finding out about the horcruxes). I don't think that Regulus was secretly a little adventurer who was all out to do the good thing and hunt down the horcruxes.
As for his death, I think he's definately dead. A friend of mine is convinced that RAB is someone operating under Regulus' name. Don't know.

I'm also decretly hoping that Harry dies. In the JR interview last week, Jo cleared up the whole "two people die" thing, which I always took to mean what she meant by it, which was two MORE people die than what she originally intended. I mean, come on guys, it's a war! She went on that add that it was going to be a bloodbath. I'm looking forward to it. I have a long mental list of people I'd like to see dead by the end of the series. The Weasleys need some losses for a start.

Yeah I definately agree on the whole, not just two people die, but a LOT of people will die, thing. I mean, that's always been pretty set in my mind.

It also makes sense that each death eater would have one, but I doubt Regulus would be important enough to have one. However, if each death eater had one, then why was the orginal locket in the cave? It must have been at one point in time.

I thought more a small selection of DEs would have one. I mean, if Death Eaters were being rounded up and killed, wouldn't you want to entrust at least one of the horcruxes with someone who isn't so well known? I feel like I'm stretching it here, but in the event that Regulus was given the locket, I guess he would have put it there. I may be putting too much confidence in his abilites but I've never imagined him to be a sub-par wizard, just not a brilliant one. If I wanted to remove myself from the DEs while still appearing to be loyal to them I'd hide it in a manner like that. My assumption is that those entrusted with the items were told to hide them or keep them safe, though I'm not sure Lucius did what he did with the Diary because he just wanted to get rid of it, or didn't think that Voldemort was going to be back any time soon, or he knew full well what was going on and what the diary did, how to use it and what it would lead to.

In all honesty, JK has certainly left me with a huge amount of questions that I can't seem to come up with a water tight theory left. I think this is mostly because there's a whole load of information we don't know, and quite probably a whole lot of information that we'll never know at all. I mean, Harry could easily destroy the horcruxes once he's found them without knowing their full history over the last fifty years.

four days to go. Also, has anyone noticed that the timer on the Leaky isn't right? maybe my counting is off, or maybe my 9.01 am release time we have in Aus isn't the same as the release time the US get it. I mean, the US get a midnight release, am I right? So does the UK.
So, the UK: Midnight.
Australia EST: 9am (when I'm getting mine.)
If we were to release it in the USA at this time, It'd be 4pm on the 20th in LA, and 7pm in NY. I know that doesn't sound quite as romantic, a 4pm release, but it means that when USE potter fans get their grubby mitts on a copy of DH, I'd have been already reading for eight hours. Sucks to be american right now. I'd hate to be sitting there knowing that in other parts of the world people are already reading the book.
