A Handmaids Tale by Margaret Attwood.

It's frustrating, in a Anthem/The Giver kind of way....I'm terrified of begining a new book now that Deathly Hallows is so near. :(

I am currently reading The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I give you one guess to figure out what book I'll be reading in 10 days.

closest i'll get to re-reading the books is seeing OotP again next tuesday (only in German) and remembering what I can from the books.

I've been warned to expect disappointment at the ending of Dark Tower, but at least the quality of writing is superb...unlike what happened after people begged me to read Eragon..

The same book everyone else here has read... but now I want another book. I think I'll pick one off of here and head to the bookstore in the morning.

I should really start reading my summer assignment for AP English -- The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I'll probably do that this evening.

Oh me too! I read Invisible Monsters and LOVED it! I just finished Haunted this morning. It was one of the sickest, craziest things I have ever read--and it was just fantastic! So I immediately started on Choke, and I'm sure I will finish that in the next 2 days and then have to go onto another one of his books. :D

I've resumed Daniel Deronda, which is my favourite George Eliot so far, I think!

Invisible Monsters is pretty good. I like Lullaby better, but all time fave of his is Survivor. Seriously, I'm obsessed with that book. Probably because, well to say I'm from a similar church background would be extreme, but I totally see where the main character is coming from. I think that's why my friend told me to read that one first, haha. I've only read "Guts" from Haunted...and I see now why people faint upon hearing it....I was reading Diary when book 7 came out, so I should finish that one probably before reading Choke or Fight Club. I can't get enough of his works though.

ps- Ever notice how most of his book titles are only one word? I think that's kinda spiffy ;)
