Bio

Christopher William Rankin was born on November 8th, 1983 at Howick Obstetric Hospital in Auckland, NZ. Rothsay Bay, NZ was his home for six years before he moved to Norfolk, UK. Chris currently resides in a village just outside Norwich, where he has lived for the past 12 years.

He attended Shipdham Primary School, Northgate High School, and Dereham Sixth Form College. He is currently a member of the Dereham Operatic Society Youth Theatre Company.

When he is not acting, Chris enjoys reading, playing the violin and piano, surfing the Internet, meeting people, travelling to distant lands, eating cheese, and singing "We're Off To See The Wizard" rather loudly in public places. If Chris could be a vegetable, he would be either a marrow or a cucumber, although he does not know why.

Chris plays favourites far too often. His favourite flavour of ice cream is Christmas Pudding. Moulin Rouge and the Rocky Horror Picture Show are his favourite movies. Chris' favourite colour is "a nice, rich-toned red." He even has a favourite vegetable -- the carrot.

In the future, Chris wishes to become two things: a full-time, professional actor and a Knight of Ni. In addition, he hopes to live in Castle Anthrax.
