Rules, rules, rules. As much as we hate them, they're necessary. If you follow these simple ones it'll make everyone's lives easier. Thanks!

1. Posting to increase your post count is annoying, dumb, and clutters up the boards. Please don't do it.

2. All introductions are to be posted in the Introductions thread on the Smockers' Anonymous board. Any topic created to introduce a new member will be locked.

3. Each forum is there for a different purpose and has a description. Read these, and don't post topics in the wrong forums. Topics not posted in the proper areas will be locked and/or deleted.

4. Don't be a bandwidth leech. If you want to post a picture, either host it yourself or get a friend to host it for you.

5. When in doubt, ask a moderator if what you want to do is against the rules. We are more than happy to help you - just PM us.

6. There is NO rule 6!

7. Flamewars and otherwise insulting or argumentative discussions will not be tolerated.

8. The forums are intended for all ages - if you're not comfortable saying it in front of a young kid, don't post it.

9. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse. Every member is expected to have read the rules and follow them at all times.

10. Please try and make your posts readable. Posts that are in all caps or annoying colors are incredibly annoying. Please only use regular black text when posting - you can use other colors or effects to illustrate a point, but a whole post in size 10 bold green font is not ok. Members who use such tactics will be given a warning and a chance to discontinue the practice.

11. Signatures are to be no larger than 3 lines of text. Images may be no larger than 50 pixels high by 400 pixels wide, and only one image is allowed per signature.

12. Repeated violations of the above rules will earn you a wonderful custom title (custom titles can also be granted at moderator discretion). If that doesn't get the point across, you'll be banned.

13. Have a smocking good time!
