As I was browsing through various Harry Potter fanfiction sites I came across a few Chris/Sean fics. No, i'm not talking about Percy/Oliver I mean actual fics about Chris and Sean. I just found that very disturbing. I don't really want to post the links here so you'll just have to do some searching and see for yourself. I skimmed one fic and it actually scared me...eheh...opinions on this? come to think of it, i'm not even used to..actor slash.  |

RPS is ... weird, to say the least. Hmm.
I've never read any before and I daresay I never will, because frankly, "ill-taste" isn't even a word that begins to cover it ::grimace::
They used to host fics like that over at ff.net - but they banned it. Good. Although I'm sure, as is the case with NC-17 fics, people find ways around that rule.
Far be it for me to pass judgement on the entire genre, but I don't know ... I have a strong belief in art - but I'm not sure if RPS enters that category.

i've seen it - and to be honest I find it very very funny!!! It is rather disturbing, it's true, but to be honest everyone knows that it's "fan"fic and isn't real, and is usually very amusing to read!!!
Sean knows about it too - i told him about it at the premiere - hence the "look" in the premiere photo of me and him!!!

Don't you find it odd that people take you, and not a character, and try to relate their own idea of how you act and put it into fiction?
If I were famous and someone RPS'ed me, making a trait of mine as being a United supporter (shock horror) - I'd be rather put out! ;)
Perhaps there's a Chris Rankin fic out there in which he doesn't like Monty Python .... ;)

Holly frikin' Crap. That is just bizarre. I know the only other time I've seen anything like that is with the actors Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, there are THOUSANDS of GA/DD Shippers out there, which I always found a little bit odd.
Although I must admit, I am slightly curious. *smacks self*

Wandering around various sites, I see loads of RPS and stuff, but I think at the end of the day it's what some people like.
I don't have a problem with people writing it, but what I find rather amusing s when people assume that the actors written aboot are really like they are written in fan-fics. lol
I've heard some very embarassing stories about that .....hehe.
As fer Chris/Sean....well, they could have paired Chris off with far worse.....

It would depend how graphic the story is .... some RPS writers only have their characters holding hands, although I'd say it's more common that said fics have higher ratings.
