Will the General Discussion area be renamed, and will the Regurgitation Booth come back?

I don't mind smocking, but we must bear in mind these new forums were created to start from scratch and give newbies the chance to start afresh with a place free of jargon and in-jokes. I'm sure all the old jokes are bound to haunt us every once in a while, but we must think of all those poor new people wondering what the heck we're talking about. :D

Yeah, Chris & I decided the joke was a little old and played out, so we removed it from the new site redesign and (as you can see!) the new forums. It used to be funny... now, not so much. I challenge anyone to find a situation where referring to smocking actually makes a conversation better or funnier.

on those occasions when one is discussing various types of needle work and knitting, embroidering, and crocheting are getting too boring and one needs something new.

or perhaps you need to swear but it would be inappropriate to do so.

Ha ha well I kinda agree, it was okay for awhile I guess I wouldn't know, I haven't been here that long but so far the new look is alright. I sent a few suggestions to the admin for what should be on the forums. Hope it's all right.

It was fun for say, around five years, but I think it's done its dash.
Alex: Excuse me for being a busybody, but what were some of the suggestions? (if you don't mind me asking?)
