RIP Muffy

Postby Maresa on Fri Jun 15, 2007 6:10 am

About 12.15 this morning, Muffy died in the arms of my mom, with me and Gramma there with her.

Muffy was my 14 year old Shih Tzu, whom I've had since fourth grade. She was the best friend I've ever had.

oh, I'm sorry sweetheart *hugs*. Losing a pet is a horrible thing, especially when you're close to them.
RIP Muffy. :(

R.I.P. Ozzy

My rabbit passed away this morning. Minutes after I left her at the vet. She was only 5. Rabbits don't live as long as other animals, but she really was not that old. It upsets me even more because she had a mass on her chest but I was told by another vet that it was not cancer or a tumor. So I have no idea what really caused it. They said they would do an autopsy so maybe I will be able to find out soon. I miss her so much. Her cage is empty and sitting in the living room. I can't bare to clean it out or get rid of it...
You have to take a grain of salt with some people. With my family, you need a whole margarita!

I'm so sorry... that really and truly sucks. Losing a pet is like losing a family member.
Hang in there hon.

I'm so sorry sweetheart.
We had a scare the other day: my kitten, Oscar, decided to eat an ibuprofin that someone had left out. Stomach pumping fun!

Sabby, That would be scary! My dog nearly did the same thing with a pill my dad dropped on the floor....

I'm sorry about your bunny, Elise. She looked so adorable, too! I've never had a pet. Maybe it's for the best. :(

What is it about animals eating whatever they come across?! I'd love to have a kitten, but I'd be afraid of it getting poisoned in my topsy-turvy house. :P

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dog my senior year, she was around 9 years of age and a pure bred collie named Lassie. Yes, Lassie, I grew up wanting a collie named Lassie. So I can understand that. It's hard but you will be okay to move on :)
