Again, if anyone made it to either Basildon or Memorabilia and took neat photos, please pass them along to us and we'll stick them on the website!

off for a jaunt in the country! :: posted by on 27 July 2003 @ 9.28am :: Comments (181)

hey all!!!

last minute diary update here.... I'm off on holiday tonight for a week and a half, so not sure how much i'll be around during that time. Should be a great holiday though - i'm off (as usual) to the isle of wight for a week, and then going up to Edinburgh with our very own Undercover - to have a look at the festival SmileI've been to Edinburgh twice in the last year, and seem to have fallen in love with the place - so it'll be nice to see it during festival time!!! Typical me, didn't bother to book a hotel till the last moment and almost ended up sleeping on the streets... fortunately The Scotsman - the joint best hotel in Edinburgh had two rooms left, so it should be a luxurious three nights Smile

anyways, look after the site while i'm away!!!

take care,
*hugs all round*

hey chickens!!

sorry i haven't updated in ages - i've been SO busy here, it's been a case of getting on the net as and when for 30 seconds at a time.

Anyways, i'm here now, so i'll tell you what i've been up to! Smile

Since the book came out it's been a bit quiet on the Chris front... pottering around at home, starting to tidy up before we move house sometime over the summer (all being well). As I may have mentioned before (and if not, I'm mentioning it now!), my old school (Northgate High in Dereham) did a production of Les Miserables last week, for which i was due to be playing in the pit-band. HOWEVER. with a week to go, one of the principal cast decided he couldn't be bothered to do the show anymore, and dropped out, Leaving the director at a bit of a loss. Now, as Jim has directed me in productions before (namely Taste Of Honey), he gave me a bell and asked me to step in. Which i did - with rather a lot of panic!!
So to cut a longer story short, I've just spend the last week playing Thenardier in my old school's production of Les Miserables, which was SO much fun i cannot tell you!!!

On top of that, Myself and Jim Rymer (director) have just formed ourselves a professional theatre company called Painted Horse UK (affectionately known as Blatant Farce UK). We shall be starting work on our first production in the next few weeks and a national tour will kick off sometime in the autumn (an international tour may be on the cards sometime next year if we can gather lots of money and interested venues!). I'll keep you posted on that one as things happen Smile

Other than that it's been a quiet couple of weeks! lol!

I'm back to filming next week as well as being at the NEC memorabilia convention on the 26th.

hope to see some of you there Smile

love
chris
