Hello everyone! I’ve just come back from my annual holiday with my wonderful friends on the isle of wight - although this year’s adventure was split in two as I had to come home last week and do a little bit of admin work for Memorabilia (which i shall be attending this coming weekend). I’ve had a few audition lately ad I’m still waiting to hear outcomes, so will keep you posted.
In the mean time - consider this… I’ve got a sponge front door - Hey - Don’t knock it.
Chris

Good morning to you! Again, it’s been a while since i last posted, but there’s good reasons for this… I’ve been working! Yes, working! I made some amazing friends up at the Memorabilia convention last weekend, and it’s great! On Tuesday I shot a couple of scenes in a sci-fi project called Explode for Fantom Films… I die after the opening scene - but it’s a laugh - and i had a great time!
I’ve also got a part in a 5person ensemble who have been employed to film a pilot episode for a new satirical comedy series from the writers of Not The Nine O’Clock News and other such legendary shows. If it takes off and gets picked up there could well be a series in it - which would be amazing!
I’ve also got potential to be coming to a few conventions in the states over the next few months… more to come when i’ve confirmed some things this week…
Today, i’m playing a doctor in a film as a favour to another friend of mine… busy busy busy!!
Stay tuned!

At the recent Memorabilia convention Chris met the author of a great new book, Charlie Watts and the Rip in Time; certainly one worth checking out!

As today is our site’s 4th birthday, we could think of no better time to release version 5 of Chris Rankin Online!
The News and Journal sections, as you may notice, are running on an entirely different system thanks to the guys at Blursoft. This brings with it many changes, the most important being:
- Registration is now required in order to post comments. Your account will work for both the news and journal pages. This should help us cut down on spam as well as provide you with better features!
- Old news and diary posts are viewable in the same archived format as before, except for the comments. Simply click on the “Old Archives” link (underneath Browse Archives), select the month you wish to view, and scroll down past the list of months and years.
- A search function! Unfortunately due to a coding error it is not operational yet, but it should be up and running soon.
Many other sections of the website have been renamed, moved, or otherwise tampered with. Feel free to browse around, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, let us know via the feedback form (which has now moved to the links & faq page!).
Thank you for supporting Chris Rankin Online for the past four years; we would be nowhere without the active community that has formed here. We hope that you enjoy the new site!
