Hello!
I’ve answered some more of your questions in the Q&A section of the site - so run along and have a look!
Also, don’t be afraid to pose your questions - I check in on them every now and then to answer the good ones!
Hope everyone’s well!
Chris
Chris will be appearing next Saturday and Sunday (May 4-5) at this year’s Collectormania in Milton Keynes. Admission is free - so those of you in the area have no excuse! Further information about the event, directions, etc. can be found on the Collectormania event page. Hope to see you there!
Hope you all enjoyed the fake Facebook page that graced the front page all day on April 1st - we’re keeping a copy permanently here in case anyone feels the need to examine JK Rowling’s wall postings for clues.
Next week’s Entertainment Weekly is all about Harry Potter, with an 11 page spread devoted to the books and movies. The Weasley family makes an appearance in the quiz, so we’ve scanned the page and put it in the gallery. Have a try at this one - can you put the Weasleys in order from oldest to youngest? (We sure hope you can…!)
Welcome back to Chris Rankin Online! As you may have noticed, we’ve been hard at work this past week, giving the site a much-needed makeover and upgrade. Our hope is that you will find the new site more organized and easier to use.
So what’s new, you ask? First of all, we have completely revamped the photo gallery section, making it simpler, cleaner, and less cluttered. We’ve pared down the photo collection to just the essentials, and added a host of new photos to boot. Chris’ bio & CV are now up to date. There is a new, nicer email form on the contact page. We’ve removed the press section entirely and replaced it with a Q&A page, where you can submit your own questions to be answered. And don’t forget to check out the links & FAQ page, which we’ve updated with charities where Chris serves as patron.
As always, we’d like to know what you think - leave a comment and let us know!
In case you haven’t heard, Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is officially coming out on July 21! (You can pre-order at Amazon, if you like) Head on over to our forums and start discussing your theories - we may have another contest when the book comes out.
Chris is still in LA and doing well. In preparation for his return we may be doing a bit of construction on the site, so don’t be too worried if things start temporarily re-arranging themselves.
Happy New Year everyone!
I’ve finished pantomime season now. It was, as always, a wonderful experience, and I’ve made some wonderful new friends along the way.
This year is looking to be a very different one from anything I’m used to already. Next week, I’m setting off for America for a month, to see what LA has to offer me in the way of work. What comes of this we shall have to wait and see - but rest assured you’ll be the first to know!
I hope 2007 is happy and prosperous for you all!
Chris
